Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Justin Ortiz!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ortiz is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Ortiz has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Ortiz blocks a head kick by White.
White moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Ortiz takes a swing at White's ribcage but misses.

Sloppy strikes from Ortiz. Those never looked like landing.
White comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Ortiz thows a leg kick but White checks it
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
White throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A punch lands to the side of White 's head but he takes it in his stride.
White ducks under a wild hook from Ortiz.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Good leg kick by White there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
White throws a nice inside leg kick.
White uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Ortiz.

White will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

White takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

White fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Ortiz.

Justin Ortiz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A jab lands there for Ortiz.

and White counters with a nice low kick that buckles Ortiz's knee momentarily.

White defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Ortiz.

We've been told by White's head coaches at gods of the cage sp that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
White scores with a head kick. Ortiz tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Ortiz fakes high and swings low for a body shot but White manages to avoid it.
Ortiz connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
White is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ortiz is pawing at White, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into White's nose. White is badly hurt! Ortiz pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! White tries desperately to hold on but Ortiz is relentless in his assault! As White receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Ortiz away and this one is in the books!
