1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mosi Jelani! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Ackerman and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wilkerson thuds his right hand into Jelani's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Some wild striking there from Jelani.
Jelani misses with a double jab
and Wilkerson counters with a left and a right that stings Jelani. Wilkerson feints and as Jelani raises his hands in defense, Wilkerson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Wilkerson is looking to pass into half guard but Jelani pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Jelani is in guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jelani throws a strike but Wilkerson rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Wilkerson sitting in guard, not really doing much.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters are working up against the cage. Jelani manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. Wilkerson prevents Jelani from breaking the clinch. Jelani is trying to force a seperation but Wilkerson has the dominant position. Jelani wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Wilkerson has him pressed against the cage. Wilkerson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Wilkerson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Jelani throws a series of strikes that have Wilkerson backpedaling.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jelani throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Wilkerson is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jelani sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Jelani looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Jelani fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Jelani looks winded! Jelani lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Wilkerson circles away quickly and effectively. Wilkerson scores with a takedown into Jelani's guard. Wilkerson is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Wilkerson tries to free his leg and advance position but Jelani is retaining full guard.

We're going to have a standup here because Wiley Wilkerson wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Jelani throws a right hand that Wilkerson ducks under and follows up with a left that Wilkerson also avoids with ease. A combination from Jelani does no damage. We've been informed that Jelani has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Wilkerson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jelani pinned against the cage. Jelani gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Wilkerson tries to clinch up but Jelani circles away and keeps his distance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wilkerson closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jelani to the mat! Jelani manages to get full guard. Wilkerson is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Wilkerson wants to stand but Jelani is controlling his posture from full guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Wiley Wilkerson just wasn't active enough. Jelani checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wilkerson fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Jelani to the ground. Wilkerson is now in Jelani's guard. Jelani really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wilkerson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Wilkerson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Wilkerson has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Jelani is proving hard to escape from. Jelani is breathing heavily.

Wiley Wilkerson has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Jelani throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Wilkerson. Jelani misses with a wild combination.
Wilkerson tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Jelani is able to avoid easily. Excellent takedown into side control there by Wilkerson. Wilkerson is trying to get an arm triangle but Jelani is defending well. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jelani can do anything to dispel that myth.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Wilkerson looks up at the clock and then as Jelani takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Wilkerson smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Wilkerson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Wilkerson taking a breather here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Wiley Wilkerson dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Jelani misses with a combination
and Wilkerson counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Jelani pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Jelani misses with a two punch combination.
Wilkerson scores with a takedown into Jelani's guard. Wilkerson postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Wilkerson looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Jelani takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Wilkerson slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wilkerson is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Jelani will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Wiley Wilkerson. Wilkerson tries to clinch up. Wilkerson slips a jab and a cross from Jelani.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Jelani stops Wilkerson from passing to mount. Wilkerson moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Mosi Jelani has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Wilkerson connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Jelani some visible discomfort.

And that's the end of the fight! Wiley Wilkerson showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Wilkerson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
