Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Theo Crawford! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Wet Hell! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crawford just misses with a punch to the body.
Crawford pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Hell tries to keep at a distance but Crawford has taken the fight into the clinch. Crawford pulls guard successfully.
Crawford keeping full guard, as Hell tries to pass. Hell is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Crawford isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Hell stacks Crawford on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Hell! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. You can see the frustration on Crawford's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crawford is looking for a sweep. Hell trying to control the action but Crawford is working from the bottom. Crawford tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Hell presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Hell is trying to take his opponent's back.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Crawford tries to hold on but Hell pushes him away. Crawford gets back to half guard. Crawford tries to kick Hell off but Hell keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Crawford is looking to improve his position.
Hell tries to stand and escape but Crawford actually recovers to full guard. Crawford has his feet on Hell's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

Crawford looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Hell trying to control here.
Hell works his way to full guard. Good work. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Crawford trying to control the position from guard on top but Hell is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A head kick misses from Crawford. Crawford throws a right hand that Hell ducks under and follows up with a left that Hell also avoids with ease. Theo Crawford is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Crawford drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Hell tries to land a sweep but no joy. Hell trying to control the position here. Theo Crawford overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Theo Crawford. Crawford shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Hell gets caught napping as Crawford dives in and scores a takedown. Hell manages to retain guard. Crawford looking to sit in guard and control but Hell gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Hell trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Crawford might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Crawford trying to keep a closed guard but Hell is proving a slippery customer.

Crawford is working an open guard so Hell takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Hell tries to clinch but Crawford is having none of it. Hell tries to sprawl but Crawford drives through with a takedown into half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Crawford trying to pass the guard but Hell defending well. Crawford prevents Hell from improving his position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Theo Crawford dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Crawford tries to close the distance and clinch but Hell swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Hell tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Crawford defends well and Hell ends up having to push Crawford into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Crawford ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Crawford no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Hell stopping the sweep attempt from Crawford. Hell controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Crawford keeping moving, preventing Hell from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crawford wants to control but Hell passes easily into half guard.
Hell trying to control from half guard but Crawford is working away. Hell wants to free his trapped foot but Crawford is holding on for dear life with his legs. Crawford is looking for a sweep. Hell is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Crawford makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Crawford. Hell controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Wet Hell has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Crawford feints and as Hell raises his hands in defense, Crawford changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Crawford drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Hell dives on top into guard. Hell showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Hell pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Crawford is keeping the position for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crawford looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hell is one step ahead there. Crawford has his hands on Hell's head, controlling the position. Crawford looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Hell has picked Crawford up and slammed him! Crawford can't keep hold of the triangle and Hell manages to pass to side control! Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hell has control of an arm but Crawford manages to advance to Hell's back! Crawford trying to control. Crawford working for the choke. Crawford looking to hold on to the position here but Hell rolls and ends up regaining guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Theo Crawford showed his dominance in that final round. Well Crawford has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
