The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pearmine closes the distance and clinches up with Krauthammer, looking for a takedown. Pearmine pushes Krauthammer against the cage but Krauthammer circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Krauthammer shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Krauthammer was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Krauthammer cracks Pearmine with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Krauthammer immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Pearmine is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Krauthammer!
