Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Darth Bane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenji Musaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 4 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Darth Bane! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kenji Musaki! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Sosuke Kotani and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bane tries to keep at a distance but Musaki has taken the fight into the clinch. Musaki gets a trip takedown into half guard. Bane keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Musaki working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Bane is not content to let Musaki control the position. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Bane is trying to maintain the position but Musaki is very close to passing his half guard. Musaki wants to free his trapped foot but Bane is holding on for dear life with his legs. Musaki is trying to work for a kimura but Bane is defending well.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Musaki throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Bane definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Musaki thows a huge punch but Bane dodges it nicely.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Musaki seems to be looking for submissions.
Musaki is looking for a kimura but Bane is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Musaki to get the leverage. Bane really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Bane is looking to improve his position.

Bane tries to roll over but Musaki keeps him under control. Musaki slows the pace down in half guard.
