Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lucius Thornton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Glen Shore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Lucius Thornton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Glen Shore! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Sam Margolis and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shore looks to clinch and Thornton counters with a nice double leg into guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Shore throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Shore is trying to control the position but Thornton postures up. Shore looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Thornton slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Shore.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shore tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Thornton manages to move to mount!
Shore is trying desperately to improve position. Thornton knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Shore on the ground. Thornton wants to stand but Shore is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.
Thornton is standing up, even though he is in mount. Shore tries to clinch but Thornton moves away and Thornton counters with a single leg into guard. Shore didn't expect that. Shore controls Thornton momentarily but Thornton frees himself. Shore is looking for a triangle here but Thornton uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Thornton decides to stand back up. Thornton steps back and let's Shore get back to his feet. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Shore doesn't succeed with the takedown and Thornton counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Shore is looking to get back to is feet but Thornton passes into side control.
Thornton stands up. Shore looks to clinch and Thornton counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shore wants to control but Thornton is keeping busy and won't allow it. Thornton prevents Shore from standing back up.
Shore looks winded! Shore tries to roll over but Thornton keeps him under control. Thornton stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Shore tries to clinch but fails miserably and Thornton counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Shore's guard now. Shore controls Thornton momentarily but Thornton frees himself.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Thornton wanted to stand there but Shore had control of the position. Shore trying to keep a closed guard but Thornton is proving a slippery customer.
Thornton could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Glen Shore has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Shore tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Thornton counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Shore! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lucius Thornton dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Shore tries to clinch but Thornton moves away and Thornton counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Thornton tries to stand and escape but Shore is controlling the position. Shore wants to control but Thornton is keeping busy.

Thornton got a little sloppy there for a moment and Shore has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Thornton has managed to get both his arms back between Shore's legs - danger averted. Shore wants to sweep here but Thornton controlling him for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shore is working an open guard so Thornton takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Shore throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Shore wants to clinch so Thornton counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Shore looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Thornton passes into side control.
Shore is breathing heavily. Thornton stands up and we're back to a striking position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shore throws a right hand that Thornton ducks under and follows up with a left that Thornton also avoids with ease. Shore throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Thornton. Shore darts in trying to clinch and Thornton counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Thornton. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Shore has an active guard here but Thornton has managed to pass into half guard.

Thornton decides to take the fight back to the feet. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Shore throws a solid leg kick but Thornton takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Shore. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Thornton wants to get up but he can't break Shore's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Shore bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Thornton's guard. Shore trying to control the position from guard on top but Thornton is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shore prevents Thornton from getting back to his feet. Shore wants to pass the guard but Thornton is keeping the position. Shore takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Thornton keeping moving, preventing Shore from controlling successfully. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Shore throws a strike but Thornton rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Thornton gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Shore wants to clinch and Thornton counters with a single leg into guard. Shore didn't expect that. Shore working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Thornton doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Thornton manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Thornton tries to stand but Shore is controlling from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shore wants to stand and escape but Thornton is having none of it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Thornton decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Shore throws a right hand that Thornton ducks under and follows up with a left that Thornton also avoids with ease. Thornton is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Shore can do to turn this around? Thornton checks a low kick from Shore.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Shore connects with a nice looking jab.
Shore throws a nice looking combination but Thornton bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Shore closes the distance but Thornton moves to the side and Thornton counters with a takedown into side control. Thornton stands up. Lucius Thornton is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Shore misses with a wild combination.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Shore closes the distance but Thornton moves to the side and Thornton counters with a shoot takedown. Shore fights it but they end up in guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Lucius Thornton showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Thornton, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
