Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Xiomar Halo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mickey McFinnigan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McFinnigan comes into a darkened arena with his song building. My Drunken Irish Dad kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Xiomar Halo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Halo, right into the meat.
McFinnigan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Halo throws a half hearted mid kick.
A slow jab from McFinnigan misses its intended target.
Halo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
McFinnigan thows a body shot but no joy.
McFinnigan wants to clinch up but Halo keeps it at a distance.
Halo is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
It looks like Mickey McFinnigan has been cut.
McFinnigan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

McFinnigan moves in looking to clinch but Halo pushes him off.

Halo slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

McFinnigan stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Halo.
Halo misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
McFinnigan fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Halo is out of range.
Halo throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Halo takes a swing at McFinnigan's ribcage but misses.
Halo just misses with a punch to the body.

McFinnigan walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Halo checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
McFinnigan takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Halo is looking to wear down McFinnigan with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! McFinnigan crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Halo - the referee stops the clock and McFinnigan gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Halo. McFinnigan manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Halo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by McFinnigan.
Halo lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

McFinnigan pulls out of a head kick attempt.
McFinnigan takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
That has opened up Mickey McFinnigan's cut even more.

McFinnigan attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
McFinnigan thuds his shin into the meat of Halo's side.

Halo lands a nice looking body shot.
Halo throws a leg kick but McFinnigan moved away.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but McFinnigan might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Halo has got the better of the exchanges.

McFinnigan shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

A decent looking cross lands there for Halo.
Halo avoids the body shot from McFinnigan.
Halo just misses with a punch to the body.
McFinnigan misses with a few strikes there.
McFinnigan switches off momentarily and Halo cracks him with a monster right hand! McFinnigan topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Halo dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Halo!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:39 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Xiomar Halo!
In his post fight interview, Xiomar Halo started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
