Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bruce McBrain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Armo Kuusela (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kuusela has chosen Promentory as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McBrain rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kuusela moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Kuusela on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by McBrain. McBrain obviously looking to wear him down.

Kuusela throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
McBrain scores with a nice strike.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from McBrain lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kuusela has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kuusela and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
McBrain turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Kuusela's hands are dropping dangerously low here and McBrain connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Kuusela scrambles back to his feet.

Kuusela clinches up with McBrain and pushes him back against the cage.

McBrain is looking to control Kuusela's arms but Kuusela gets an underhook and turns him. Now McBrain has his back to the cage.

Armo Kuusela really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that CEC Nutrition Q160 logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
