Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tory Kitcha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and kid kickass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). kid kickass will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, kid kickass!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Alec Ball and William Peck.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
kickass will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Kitcha has his takedown stuffed

and kickass counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Kitcha's guard now.
kickass trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

kickass stands and steps away. Kitcha gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

and kickass counters with a leg kick then a big left hand that sends Kitcha down! kickass is looking to finish but Kitcha is intelligently defending himself.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kitcha is on top in guard.
Kitcha wants to stand but kickass has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Kitcha is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
kickass had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Kitcha is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. kickass Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Kitcha's back instead.

Kitcha tries to clinch

and kickass counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
kickass stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kitcha swivels though and keeps the full guard.
