Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Rogers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vaan Tseng (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Vaan Tseng!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Sergei Dronov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogers takes a kick to the side of the head.
No luck for Tseng with that takedown attempt.
Tseng closes this distance looking for a takedown but Rogers circles away.
Rogers misses with a straight left.
Tseng shoots in looking for a takedown. Rogers tries to sprawl out of it but Tseng keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rogers manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Jason Rogers has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vaan Tseng.
Tseng closes the distance and lands a one-two.
It looks like Jason Rogers has been cut.
We've been told by Rogers's head coaches at Warrior MMA and Fitness that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

and Tseng counters with a shoot takedown. Rogers fights it but they end up in guard.

Tseng lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Tseng has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Rogers might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Tseng is working Rogers over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rogers wants to stand but Tseng is controlling the position.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The ref stands the fighters back up. Vaan Tseng was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Tseng darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Tseng working over Rogers with some ground and pound. Rogers looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Tseng winds up and cracks Rogers with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Tseng wants to control but Rogers is keeping him busy.

Tseng is keen to just control but Rogers is a slippery customer.
Rogers has hold of Tseng's hands but Tseng slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Tseng is figuring out what he wants to do next.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Rogers pushes Tseng off looking to stand but Tseng dives back in and keeps control.
Tseng is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Rogers defends it well.
Rogers tries to kick Tseng off but Tseng keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Tseng is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Rogers!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jason Rogers's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Vaan Tseng decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
