Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tomek Gutzeit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pencil Neck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gutzeit comes to the ring accompanied by Sobota- Do gory leb. Neck is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Deep Purple - Bad Attitude. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tomek Gutzeit! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
21 - 27 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pencil Neck! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Daniel Blasius and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Neck clinches with his opponent.
Neck just leaning against Gutzeit, taking a breather. Neck tries for a takedown. No joy.
Neck is trying to maintain a safe position but Gutzeit gets an underhook and turns Neck into the ropes. Gutzeit gets underhooks to prevent Neck's takedown attempt.
Neck tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Gutzeit smiles and moves away.
Tomek Gutzeit has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pencil Neck. Gutzeit throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Gutzeit scores with a punch to the head. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Neck fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Gutzeit, pushing him back against the ropes. Gutzeit gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Neck.
Neck manages to break the clinch.
Gutzeit closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Neck did well to prevent Gutzeit getting side control. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gutzeit seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Neck does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gutzeit missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Neck trying to hold on to Gutzeit's head to control him but Gutzeit postures up.
Gutzeit not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Neck is trying to stand.
Gutzeit thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Neck's head. Neck tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Gutzeit is working for a kimura but Neck is defending it quite comfortably.

Gutzeit has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Neck is proving hard to escape from. Gutzeit works over Neck with some ground and pound from guard. Neck keeping moving, preventing Gutzeit from controlling successfully. Neck has control of Gutzeit's left arm, preventing Gutzeit from doing any damage. Neck working for a triangle but Gutzeit defends it easily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Gutzeit is looking to stand up but Neck won't let him. Gutzeit wants to control from the top but Neck keeps moving. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Gutzeit is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Neck is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Tomek Gutzeit just wasn't active enough. Neck looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Gutzeit! The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. You can see the frustration on Gutzeit's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Neck wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gutzeit keeps working. We've been informed that Neck has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Neck tries for a kimura but Gutzeit is defending well. Neck looking to sit in guard and control but Gutzeit gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Gutzeit has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Neck keeping full guard, as Gutzeit tries to pass. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Gutzeit tries to stand but Neck is controlling from the bottom. Neck not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

That was a close round but I would say that Tomek Gutzeit will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Gutzeit is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Neck with a couple of shots from the bottom there - nothing Gutzeit can't handle though.

Gutzeit not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Neck is trying to keep Gutzeit in close.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Pencil Neck hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Neck closes the distance and clinches up with Gutzeit, looking for a takedown. Neck pushes Gutzeit against the ropes but Gutzeit circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Neck shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Neck dodges the punch combination from Gutzeit.
Neck wants to clinch. Gutzeit leaves Neck with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Gutzeit lands a nice short elbow. Neck trying to control but Gutzeit postures up.

Neck trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! There's a bit of a scramble here and now Neck is on top in guard.

Gutzeit content just to control the position here. This has been an exciting period of action! Gutzeit with good strikes from the mount here! Gutzeit trying to control but he's not successful this time. Gutzeit looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Gutzeit looking to secure an arm triangle but Neck defends it well. Neck wants to control but Gutzeit is having none of it. Neck is trying to escape the mount.
Gutzeit trying to control but he's not successful this time. Gutzeit lands with some strikes. Neck gets back to half guard. Neck wants to control but Gutzeit is keeping busy.

Neck has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Gutzeit is working away from the top position though. Neck is pressing down on Gutzeit's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Gutzeit wants to pass the guard but Neck is keeping the position. Pencil Neck has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Gutzeit is looking to work some ground and pound but Neck has wrist control. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Gutzeit wants to get up but he can't break Neck's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Gutzeit scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Neck has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Gutzeit can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Neck utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
And that's the end of the fight! Tomek Gutzeit showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Gutzeit, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
