The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moreno shoots in but no luck this time.
Moreno shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in De Paiva Santos's guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

De Paiva Santos bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Moreno's guard.

De Paiva Santos jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Moreno manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Moreno is not content to let De Paiva Santos control the position.
De Paiva Santos swings around for an armbar but Moreno sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into De Paiva Santos's guard.

De Paiva Santos pushes a forearm under Moreno's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Moreno is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
