Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Muay Plata (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Inoki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Plata kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Creeping Death. Antonio Inoki has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Fujiwara.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Inoki shoots for a takedown but Plata saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Inoki throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Plata's waist but Plata gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Inoki off to one side.
Some wild striking there from Plata.
Plata lands a two punch combo.
Inoki is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Plata.
Plata throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Inoki.
Plata misses with an attempted mid kick.
Plata throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Plata lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Inoki looks for a takedown but Plata sprawls well.
Muay Plata has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Antonio Inoki.
Plata throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Plata looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Plata misses with a wild combination.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A nice inside leg kick there by Plata. That's going to slow Inoki down.
Plata throws a head kick that Inoki semi-blocks.
Plata throws a push kick but Inoki slaps the foot to one side.
Plata looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Inoki is trying desperately to land a takedown but Plata is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Inoki.

Inoki steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Plata. That one must have hurt.
Inoki is still on wobbly legs! Can Plata finish him?
Inoki looks gassed!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Plata fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Inoki square on the jaw! Damn, Inoki is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
