The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Shigeki Sano and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takahashi connects with a looping right hand.
It looks like Mary Barron has been cut.
Takahashi rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Barron moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Takahashi throws a series of punches but Barron moves out of range.
Barron tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Takahashi swivels and escapes.
Takahashi avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Takahashi lands with a hook. Barron tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Barron is rocked!
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Takahashi has cracked Barron with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Takahashi lands another huge swinging hook and Barron tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Barron, before Takahashi can land any more shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Keisuke Takahashi!
