The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hendricks dives in and grabs Culture's left leg, looking for a takedown. Culture pushes down on Hendricks's head and hops out.
Culture connects with a good right hand that stumbles Hendricks. Hendricks circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Hendricks shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Culture sprawls well. Culture wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hendricks gets slowly back to his feet.
Culture lands with a kick to the ribs.
Hendricks looks winded!
Culture cracks Hendricks with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Culture has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Hendricks to stand back up!
Hendricks is rocked!

Hendricks tries for a takedown but Culture sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Mike Culture has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Hendricks.
Culture steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Hendricks is out on his feet! Culture sets himself and nearly takes Hendricks's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
