Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marvin Wentworth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and mauricio rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
rua drives through with a takedown into guard.
Wentworth working for a triangle but rua defends it easily.
Wentworth looking for a guillotine here but rua defends easily.

rua postures up in Wentworth's guard and throws a big left but Wentworth blocks it.
Wentworth has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but rua can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Wentworth had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. rua is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Wentworth Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take rua's back instead.

rua's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

rua shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Wentworth's guard.

Wentworth pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, rua taps out and this one is all over!
