Jab, jab by Kovalenko - just one landing.
It looks like Gary Goodridge has been cut.
Kovalenko pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Goodridge back to the cage. Kovalenko follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Goodridge tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Kovalenko defends well and Goodridge ends up having to push Kovalenko into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Kovalenko pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kovalenko takes a swing at Goodridge's ribcage but misses.
Goodridge dives in for a single leg takedown but Kovalenko sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Kovalenko throws a front kick that sends Goodridge stumbling back into the cage.
Kovalenko lands with a nice combination. Goodridge backs away looking to recover.
Kovalenko throws a combination. Goodridge tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Kovalenko uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Goodridge has time to react.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Goodridge leaves his chin hanging out and Kovalenko seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Goodridge crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
