Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Colin Delaney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andre Bishop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Colin Delaney! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Andre Bishop! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Trevor Gratis and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bishop wants to clinch but Delaney slips to the side and Delaney counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Bishop! The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Bishop wants to control but Delaney postures up. Bishop is trying to work for a sweep but Delaney has mounted him! Bishop holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Delaney tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Bishop tries to hold on but Delaney pushes him away. Bishop should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Bishop tries to reverse the position but Delaney maintains control. Bishop looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! Delaney has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. Delaney wants to control but Bishop is keeping busy. Delaney will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. Delaney avoiding Bishop 's attempts to control his hands. Bishop tries to escape the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Delaney not allowing Bishop to control his hands. Bishop is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Delaney somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back. Delaney gets his hands free as Bishop looks to control. Bishop can't escape the position.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Bishop fending off the submission attempt from Delaney. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. You can see the frustration on Bishop's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bishop wants to get back to his feet. Bishop can't escape the position.
Bishop turns into Delaney and is now in his guard.
Bishop must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Bishop chips away with some ground and pound. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bishop trying to control but Delaney is working from the bottom. Delaney avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Andre Bishop will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Bishop is trying hard to land a takedown here. Delaney sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Bishop tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Delaney defends well and Bishop ends up having to push Delaney into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Delaney has Bishop pressed against the cage, preventing Bishop from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Delaney wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Bishop changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Delaney tries to avoid it but Bishop manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Delaney to the ground. Delaney escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Colin Delaney has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andre Bishop. Bishop wants to clinch up but Delaney keeps it at a distance. Bishop gets a double leg takedown into Delaney's guard. Bishop looking to sit in guard and control but Delaney gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Bishop not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Bishop is controlling Delaney's trapped leg to prevent Delaney from advancing to side control. Bishop works his way to full guard. Good work. Delaney postures up.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Delaney accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bishop can do anything to dispel that myth. Bishop managing to control the position. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Andre Bishop hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Bishop has his takedown stuffed and Delaney counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bishop. Bishop gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily letting Delaney counter with a right hand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Delaney gets a double leg takedown into Bishop's guard. Bishop seems keen to control Delaney's posture. Delaney slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Bishop. Bishop is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Delaney content to control rather than advance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bishop is looking for a sweep. Delaney is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Delaney thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Delaney is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Bishop wants to control but Delaney passes into side.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Andre Bishop will probably get the nod - 10:9. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Delaney throws a big shot that misses. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bishop is defended easily by Delaney. Bishop tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Delaney swivels and escapes. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bishop fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Colin Delaney has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andre Bishop. Bishop throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Delaney keeps the fight on the outside. Andre Bishop seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Delaney checks a leg kick. Bishop with a lazy takedown attempt and Delaney counters with a nice double leg into guard. Bishop working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Delaney has passed into half guard!
Delaney not landing any meaningful shots this time. Bishop tries to get to full guard but Delaney has control of the leg.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bishop trying to get back to full guard but Delaney takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! Bishop is looking to get to half guard. This has been an exciting period of action!

Bishop wants to control but Delaney is having none of it. Bishop tries to improve his position but instead Delaney has taken his back! Bishop trying to control the hands but Delaney breaks the grip.
