Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gator Raid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Raid comes to the cage accompanied by Rio de Janeiro. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Gator Raid! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Shane Lee! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Richard Clark and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Raid drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lee looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Raid is chipping away with strikes.
Lee takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Lee is looking for a sweep. Raid lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Lee down.
Lee is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Raid connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Lee some visible discomfort.

Raid lands an elbow. Raid looks up at the clock and then as Lee takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Raid smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Gator Raid dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
The fighters circling - Raid throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Raid fails to land the takedown. Shane Lee is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Raid. Lee tries to clinch up. Raid has a takedown stuffed. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gator Raid. That's going to take a lot out of him. Raid closes the distance and clinches up with Lee, looking for a takedown. Raid pushes Lee against the cage but Lee circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Lee feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Raid's calf. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Raid throws a shot from downtown. Lee moves away and avoids it. Lee misses with a takedown attempt - Raid sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Raid shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lee's guard. Raid scoring with some ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Raid tries to free his leg and advance position but Lee is retaining full guard. Raid with a nice head shot there. Raid throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Raid distracts Lee with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Raid forces his way into half guard. Raid seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Raid connects with a nice short shot to Lee's temple. Ground and pound from Raid. Lee gets full guard. Lee preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Lee not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Lee is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Raid scoring with punches to the head and body. Raid has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Raid landing with the ground and pound. Raid working some strikes from top position. Raid works over Lee with some ground and pound from guard. Raid is looking to work some ground and pound but Lee has wrist control.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Lee looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Raid gets the takedown into side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lee pushes Raid away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Raid gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Raid lands a few punches from side control. Raid working away. Raid in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Raid scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Nice defenses there by Lee. Raid closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lee circles away. Raid with a poor takedown and Lee counters with a two punch combo. The fight stays on the outside here - Lee looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Raid fails to land with a series of punches.
Lee feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Raid's calf. Raid shoots and misses and Lee counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Lee. Lee content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Raid blocks an elbow strike. Raid tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Raid goes for a takedown in the clinch but Lee prevents it.
Lee gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Raid.

Gator Raid dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Lee staying out of range there. Nice sprawl there from Lee as Raid shoots in. Lee stuffs the takedown. Lee looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Raid is fending him off so far but Lee persists. Nope, Raid circles away and we're back to standing. Raid tries to clinch but Lee is having none of it. Raid shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Lee slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Raid scoring with strikes to the body and head. Raid missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Raid lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Raid sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Lee defending well though.

He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Raid working Lee over with strikes. Lee wants to get back to his feet. Nice strikes from Raid there. Raid throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Lee taking some punishment here, with Raid in his half guard. Raid misses with a head shot. Lee uses the momentum to regain guard. Raid cracks Lee with a solid left hand. Raid works over Lee with some ground and pound from guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Raid pushing down on Lee's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Raid lands strikes from half guard. Lee is looking to control Raid's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Lee avoid being mounted? Lee wants to improve his position but Raid is controlling well.
Raid is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Lee moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Lee looking to hit a scissor sweep but Raid is one step ahead there. Raid working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Raid is working Lee over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Raid sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Lee's guard. Raid lands strikes from half guard. Lee is looking to control Raid's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Lee avoid being mounted? Raid takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Lee is trying to control but can't.
Raid prevents Lee from improving his position. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Raid lands a nice short elbow. Lee is in trouble now - Raid has advanced to mount! Raid with the ground and pound from mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Raid with a couple of short strikes. Raid with a couple of short strikes. Raid landing strikes from the mount. Lee tries to hold on but Raid postures up. Lee is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Raid is staying active. Lee is wriggling around trying to escape.
Raid landing strikes, looking to finish! Lee is looking to get to half guard. Lee is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Shane Lee has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Raid has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Lee's face.
And that's the end of the fight! Gator Raid showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Raid, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
