Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Crater (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leos Karanous (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Chad Campbell and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crater misses with a head kick.
Karanous shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Crater manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Crater wants to stand and escape but Karanous is having none of it.
Crater is trying to keep Karanous in close.
Karanous thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Crater has control of Karanous's left arm, preventing Karanous from doing any damage.
Crater has his foot on Karanous's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Karanous works his way back into a safe position though.
Karanous trying to control the position from guard on top but Crater is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Crater had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Karanous defends it easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Karanous throws a big right hand that misses.
Karanous trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Karanous wants to pass to mount but Crater is defending the position.
Crater is trying to stand up here but Karanous is controlling him well.
Crater wants to control but Karanous is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Karanous seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Karanous is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Crater is trying to escape and Karanous transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Crater is forced to tap! Nice work there by Karanous! Very nice indeed!
