The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Almeida looks for a takedown but Serafin sprawls well.

Serafin rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Almeida moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Almeida changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Serafin tries to avoid it but Almeida manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Serafin to the ground. Serafin escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Serafin is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Serafin displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Almeida throws out the jab.

Almeida tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Serafin was well out of range. Poor timing from Almeida.

Almeida shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Serafin manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Serafin is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Almeida frees his head nicely. Oh but Serafin has switched to an armbar! Almeida is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
