Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Milo Samurian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mario Ramires (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mario Ramires will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramires thuds his right hand into Samurian's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Ramires throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Samurian.
Ramires checks the leg kick nicely there.
Samurian thuds his shin into the meat of Ramires's side.
Some wild striking there from Ramires.

Samurian gets a clinch.
Samurian gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Ramires regains guard.

Samurian decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Ramires shoots in but Samurian avoids the takedown attempt easily.

and Ramires counters with a single leg into guard. Samurian didn't expect that.
Samurian looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ramires is one step ahead there.
Ramires wants to stand but Samurian is controlling his posture from full guard.
Ramires throws a big right hand that misses.

Ramires wants to pass the guard but Samurian is keeping the position.
Ramires stands up and waves to Samurian to follow him.
Ramires shoots in and bounces Samurian off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Samurian is looking to stand up but Ramires isn't so interested in that idea.
Ramires decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Ramires throws a right and a left that Samurian avoids nicely.
Samurian throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Ramires counters with a one-two to the body.
Ramires scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Ramires uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Samurian.
Samurian swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Samurian is breathing heavily.
Samurian closes the distance looking to clinch
and Ramires counters with a shoot takedown. Samurian fights it but they end up in guard.
Ramires works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Samurian trying to get back to full guard but Ramires takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!

Ramires is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Samurian is surviving well by controlling Ramires's body position as best he can.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Samurian is bucking up trying to escape but Ramires cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Ramires breaks from Samurian's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Ramires lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Ramires raining down shots from the mount!
Ramires prevents Samurian from getting the reversal.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Ramires trying to control but Samurian is having none of it.
Ramires looking to control and managing it successfully.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ramires clinches.
Ramires escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A low kick from Ramires is predictable there
and Samurian holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Samurian has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Ramires is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Samurian wants to break the clinch but can't.
Samurian pulls guard successfully.
Ramires forces his way into half guard.
Ramires tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Samurian wants to control but Ramires is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Samurian really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Samurian wants to get back to full guard but Ramires has mounted him!
Samurian tries to hold on but Ramires postures up.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Samurian is trying to escape the mount.
Ramires really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Samurian. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Ramires connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
A nice elbow there by Ramires.
Ramires lands a big elbow.
Ramires unloading with bombs!
Samurian is rocked!
Samurian is in a horrible position here. Ramires smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Oh Samurian is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Ramires connects with a bit shot that sees Samurian covering up! More strikes from Samurian and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Ramires is our winner by TKO!
