and Michaels counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Jackson Jr thinking.

Michaels lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Jackson Jr backs up against the cage.
Michaels dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Michaels moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Michaels has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Jackson Jr is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Michaels lands a nice hook to Jackson Jr's body. Jackson Jr takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Jackson Jr tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Michaels paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Jackson Jr throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Michaels's waist but Michaels gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jackson Jr off to one side.
