The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Musingarabwe wants to clinch.
Slade tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Musingarabwe paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Musingarabwe throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Slade counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Musingarabwe is looking to clinch but Slade is avoiding it.
Musingarabwe throws a lazy head kick
and Slade counters with a series of strikes. Musingarabwe will be more careful next time no doubt.
Musingarabwe definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Musingarabwe misses with a kick to the body

and Slade counters with a crisp one two that drops Musingarabwe! Slade thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Musingarabwe to his feet! Musingarabwe is in big trouble!

Slade lands a nice leg kick that just misses Musingarabwe's sensitive parts.
Oh Musingarabwe is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Musingarabwe closes the distance and clinches.

Slade has clasped his hands together around Musingarabwe's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Musingarabwe tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Slade presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Musingarabwe is breathing heavily.

Slade is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Slade extends the arm and Musingarabwe is forced to tap!
