Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Schlimen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vince Hardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Schlimen comes to the cage accompanied by Schlime On. Vince Hardy has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Bruce Schlimen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Vince Hardy!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Andrew Berry and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schlimen slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Schlimen keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Schlimen uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Hardy fails to land the takedown.
Hardy fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Schlimen avoids it really well and circles away.
Hardy darts in looking for a takedown but Schlimen gets double underhooks and turns Hardy into the cage.
Bruce Schlimen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vince Hardy.
Schlimen lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Hardy backwards.
Schlimen prevents a takedown attempt there.
A right handed body shot lands from Schlimen.

Schlimen lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Schlimen lands a left hand that snaps the head of Hardy backwards.
Hardy tries to score a body lock takedown but Schlimen shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Schlimen digs a right hand into Hardy's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Hardy's gas tank.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Schlimen.

I was talking to Schlimen's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Hardy's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Nice body punch from Schlimen - that landed with a thud.
Hardy has Schlimen pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Schlimen manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Schlimen lands a body shot in the clinch.

Schlimen lands with a light punch inside.

Schlimen lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Hardy is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Schlimen gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Hardy is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Schlimen is defending well.
Schlimen stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Schlimen breaks from the clinch.
Hardy moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Hardy displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Schlimen throws out the jab.
Hardy is still on wobbly legs! Can Schlimen finish him?
Schlimen scores with a shot to the body.
Hardy seems to have recovered his senses.

Hardy shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Schlimen pinned against the cage. Schlimen gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Schlimen connects with a superb combination that knocks Hardy out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Schlimen before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Hardy!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Bruce Schlimen!
An out of breath and clearly excited Bruce Schlimen thanked Conquer for their help and support (and free stuff they sent him).
Vince Hardy spoke after the fight, saying 'As always I can do everything through Christ my lord and savior who strengthens me. Without him I wouldn't be here tonight. Don't worry I'll be back.'.
