Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Christopher Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Crazy Datsik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Datsik is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Binge and purge by Clutch. Christopher Thomas has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Taro Takaoka and Shirou Masuda.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Thomas lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Datsik has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Datsik and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Datsik feints and then cracks Thomas's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Thomas down.
Thomas throws a push kick but Datsik slaps the foot to one side.
Thomas fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Datsik avoids it really well and circles away.
Datsik throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Datsik on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Thomas. Thomas obviously looking to wear him down.
Thomas lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
A looping hook to the body misses from Datsik. Thomas does a little dance to reset his feet.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Datsik checks a leg kick.
Thomas closes this distance looking for a takedown but Datsik circles away.
Datsik tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Datsik tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Datsik avoids the head kick by Thomas.
Datsik connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Datsik throws a big elbow that misses.
Datsik loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Datsik tries to stand but Thomas is controlling from the bottom.
Thomas looking to hit a scissor sweep but Datsik is one step ahead there.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Datsik accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Thomas seems to have got his legs back now.
Thomas wants to sweep but no luck.
Thomas has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Datsik throws a big right hand that misses.
Thomas manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Datsik tries to lock up and control but Thomas gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Thomas postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Datsik looks a forlorn figure.
Datsik is in all sorts of trouble here.
Thomas with shots to the head and body - Datsik looks very uncomfortable down there.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Thomas unloads with some shots from mount but Datsik bucks and avoids them well.
Thomas sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Poor strikes thrown by Thomas there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Thomas has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Thomas has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Datsik's face.
