Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Brazilian Element I (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brazilian Element Iii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Brazilian Element Iii! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Damien Edna and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Element Iii with a poor takedown and Element I counters with a nice double leg into guard. Element I drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Element Iii manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Element I has Element Iii in his guard. Element Iii throws a strike but Element I rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Element I with a flurry of punches that miss. Element Iii is adopting a defensive guard. Element Iii is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Element I preventing the sweep.
That's one minute gone in the round. Element I trying to control but Element Iii is working from the bottom.
Brazilian Element Iii has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Element Iii shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Element I leaves Element Iii with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Brazilian Element I has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brazilian Element Iii. Element Iii with a lazy takedown attempt so Element I counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Element I passes into half guard. Element I missing with the ground and pound from half guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Element Iii can do anything to dispel that myth. Element Iii won't allow Element I to pass to mount. Element I works his foot free and advances to mount. Element I jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Element Iii manages to avoid the submission attempt. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Element I is looking to take a break and control but Element Iii is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Element I is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Element Iii is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Element Iii is trying to control Element I's posture but Element I avoids it. Element I thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Element Iii really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Element I. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Element Iii manages to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Element Iii is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Element I's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Element I's back! Element Iii lands punches and elbows. Can Element I hold on?! Element Iii is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.

Element I seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Element I stands and throws Element Iii's legs to the side, diving into side control. Element I is trying to get an arm triangle but Element Iii is defending well. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Element Iii has one of Element I's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Element I can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Element Iii is looking to escape. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Element I looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
And that's the end of the fight! Brazilian Element I showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Element I, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
