Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Patrik Send (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anton Ton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Send changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ton tries to avoid it but Send manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ton to the ground. Ton escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Send shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
A jab lands there for Ton.
Ton tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Send defends well and Ton ends up having to push Send into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Send gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Ton.

The referee is keeping an eye on Send - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Send has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Ton is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Send.

Send working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ton doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ton manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ton accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Send has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Ton uses from the top position.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Patrik Send.
