Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dylan Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Landry Saracen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diaz comes to the cage accompanied by Lamb of God - To The End. Landry Saracen has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dylan Diaz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 18 - 0, fighting out of London, Landry Saracen!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Saam Ante and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz misses with a head kick.

Diaz gets caught flat footed, as Saracen shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Saracen drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Diaz dives on top into guard.

Saracen is trying to stand.

Saracen is looking to escape.
Diaz is taking a breather. Saracen says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Diaz wants to control but Saracen is keeping him busy.
Diaz will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Dylan Diaz wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Diaz lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Diaz turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Saracen manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Diaz on his heels. He'll look to pass Diaz's guard now, I'm sure.

Saracen tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Diaz defends well and Saracen ends up having to push Diaz into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Saracen jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Diaz walks away with a smile on his face. Saracen gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

No joy there for Diaz, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Diaz lands with an uppercut that bounces Saracen off the cage and back into range.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Diaz scores with a hook to the body. Saracen takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Saracen chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Diaz can pounce on him.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Saracen shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Diaz but Diaz pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Diaz feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Saracen's calf.
Diaz's corner calls for a 1-2. Diaz obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Diaz fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Saracen.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Saracen tries to pass the half guard into mount. Diaz knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Saracen looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Saracen shoots in and drives through. Diaz sprawls well.

Saracen drops down looking for an ankle pick but Diaz pulls his leg out and moves away.

Diaz lands with a kick to the temple. Saracen shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Saracen doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Diaz counters with a thumping low kick.

and Diaz counters with a head kick. That will keep Saracen thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Good leg kick by Diaz there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Diaz tries to bum rush Saracen with a series of wild strikes but Saracen uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Saracen takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Diaz lands a nice leg kick that just misses Saracen's sensitive parts.

Diaz is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Saracen.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Diaz, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
