Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ryuu Tatsuya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zorba The Greek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tatsuya kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is DBZ. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Ryuu Tatsuya! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Zorba The Greek! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Radbod Blank and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The Greek is trying hard to land a takedown here. Tatsuya sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Tatsuya scores with the left hand. The Greek knows he should have avoided that one. Nice body kick from Tatsuya. Tatsuya connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. A solid leg kick lands there for Tatsuya.
Tatsuya fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and The Greek has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Tatsuya stuffs the takedown. Tatsuya moves into the clinch. Tatsuya stalls. Tatsuya unloads a knee to the mid-section. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Tatsuya lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt The Greek or not. Tatsuya manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tatsuya seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression. Tatsuya tries to throw a body punch but The Greek avoids it by throwing Tatsuya back against the cage. Tatsuya goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Tatsuya is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Tatsuya misses with an elbow over the top. I was talking to Tatsuya's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Tatsuya connects with a knee to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tatsuya lands a knee to the body.
Tatsuya lands a good knee to the midsection. The Greek won't want to take too many of those. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Tatsuya scores a nice knee to the body.
The Greek looks winded! Tatsuya slowing the pace effectively. Tatsuya lands a knee to the body.

Ryuu Tatsuya has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zorba The Greek. Tatsuya throws an elbow that misses.

Tatsuya scores with a hook to the body. Tatsuya lands an elbow inside that The Greek shrugs off. Tatsuya creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Tatsuya's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. The Greek takes an elbow to the temple. Tatsuya lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Tatsuya throws a knee to the head but misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The Greek working hard to break the clinch. Tatsuya putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has The Greek in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Tatsuya throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but The Greek blocks it with crossed arms. Tatsuya scores with a hook to the body. Tatsuya is defending well against a takedown attempt. Tatsuya displaying some good clinch control by pressing The Greek up against the cage. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! With the fighters clinched against the cage, Tatsuya creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Tatsuya with a knee to the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ryuu Tatsuya dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Tatsuya is looking to slow The Greek down with leg kicks. Tatsuya drives through and clinches with The Greek against the cage.
Come on Tatsuya - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Tatsuya misses with a short punch on the inside. Tatsuya dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Ryuu Tatsuya. The Greek's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and The Greek duly obliges.
It looks like Ryuu Tatsuya has been cut. Nice uppercut there from Tatsuya. The Greek shoots in and drives through. Tatsuya sprawls well. Tatsuya connects with an inside leg kick. Tatsuya thows a body shot but no joy. Tatsuya scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. The Greek doesn't seem bothered though. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The Greek looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Tatsuya is fending him off so far but The Greek persists. Nope, Tatsuya circles away and we're back to standing. Tatsuya moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Ryuu Tatsuya is winning the standup battle so far. The Greek takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Ryuu Tatsuya is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. The Greek doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tatsuya scores with a jab. The Greek acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Tatsuya lands with a straight right. The Greek didn't see that one coming. Tatsuya throws a quick inside leg kick. Tatsuya connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Tatsuya lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Tatsuya stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
The Greek is rocked! Tatsuya drops The Greek with a straight right hand, right on the button! Tatsuya follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ryuu Tatsuya! After the big win, Ryuu Tatsuya made sure to do all the important stuff like thanking his sponsors L.A. Elite Clothing Co and telling the interviewer how much he loves him.
