Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Sammy DeJesus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DeJesus shoots in looking for a takedown. Dalit tries to sprawl out of it but DeJesus keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dalit manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Dexter Dalit seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dalit fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with DeJesus, pushing him back against the cage.
Dalit will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning DeJesus up against the cage.
DeJesus wants to take the fight to the mat but Dalit manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Dalit lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of DeJesus backwards.

DeJesus jumps guard but Dalit turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Dalit dips a shoulder and cracks DeJesus with a mighty uppercut! DeJesus falls back against the cage and Dalit unloads with a barrage of strikes! DeJesus is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Dalit screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:12 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dexter Dalit!
A relieved looking Dexter Dalit thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
