Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Monte Lara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ants Andur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andur shoots in for a takedown but Lara shows good takedown defense.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Andur changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lara tries to avoid it but Andur manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lara to the ground. Lara escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Monte Lara.
I think Lara has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
