Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eldon Blevins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Warren Morrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Eldon Blevins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Warren Morrison!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Colin Fotheringham and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blevins fails with a takedown attempt.

and Blevins counters with a shoot takedown. Morrison fights it but they end up in guard.
Blevins looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Morrison has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at CT Coach / Strength / Conditioning / Sauna / Vendi. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Morrison wants to get back to his feet but Blevins is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Eldon Blevins.

Blevins changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Morrison looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Blevins is looking to take a break and control but Morrison is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Blevins goes for an armbar but Morrison turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Morrison.
Blevins seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

We're going to have a standup here because Eldon Blevins wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Morrison shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Blevins but Blevins pushes him off and we're back to square one.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Morrison breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Morrison gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Morrison is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Morrison tries to pass to full mount but Blevins defends it.
Blevins knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Morrison on the ground.
Morrison seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Blevins does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Morrison wants to stand up but Blevins is controlling the position.

Blevins is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Blevins is in all sorts of trouble here.
Morrison manages to capitalize on a mistake by Blevins to take his back!
Blevins is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
I really don't envy Blevins right now.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Morrison gets his hands free as Blevins looks to control.
Blevins is keeping busy.

Morrison is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Blevins is defending well though. Morrison let's go of the attempt for now.

Morrison thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent.

Blevins staying busy and making it hard for Morrison to control.

Blevins is having to fend off submission attempts from Morrison, who is looking to sink in the choke. Morrison doesn't have the hooks in though and Blevins manages to reverse position! He's now on top, in his opponent's guard.
Blevins is looking to advance position but Morrison has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Warren Morrison showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!


Morrison shoots in looking for a takedown but Blevins manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Morrison's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Morrison looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Blevins throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Morrison was covering up waiting for the punch and Blevins finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Blevins is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Blevins looking to sit in guard and control but Morrison gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Morrison is pushing down on Blevins's leg trying to pass to half guard. Blevins is fighting to maintain full guard but Morrison has managed to sneak the leg through.

Warren Morrison has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Morrison gets tackled into the cage by Blevins. Blevins maintains the clinch.
Morrison tries to break free but Blevins pushes him back against the cage.

Blevins closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Morrison manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Eldon Blevins.
I think Blevins has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
