Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dustin Gadd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bear Wright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dustin Gadd! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bear Wright! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wright shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Gadd is in all sorts of trouble here.
Wright won't let Gadd get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Wright really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gadd. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Wright dominating with strikes here. Wright with a couple of short strikes. Gadd throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. Wright fails to move to back control. Gadd regains half guard. Wright wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gadd keeps working. Gadd is trying to control but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wright is looking to take a break and control but Gadd is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Gadd tries to kick Wright off but Wright keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Gadd keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Wright trying to control from Gadd's half guard. Gadd has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Wright trying to control but Gadd is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Gadd connects with a looping right hand.
Wright gets the takedown into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gadd tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Wright wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Gadd is trying to control Wright's posture but Wright avoids it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gadd is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Wright off and has taken his back! Gadd keeps control of the position as Wright tries to break free.
Gadd gets his hands free as Wright looks to control. I really don't envy Wright right now.
Wright looks gassed! Gadd sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Wright taps out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Dustin Gadd!
