Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machida throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hawkins's waist but Hawkins gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Machida off to one side.
Hawkins bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
It looks like Magnus Machida has been cut.
Machida misses with a takedown attempt - Hawkins sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Machida shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hawkins but Hawkins pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Magnus Machida. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Machida swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Hawkins is now in Machida's guard. A big mistake from Machida there, giving up the dominant position!

Hawkins decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Hawkins lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Machida falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
