Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Phil Solomon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mads Nielsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nielsen has chosen Metallica - Enter Sandman as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Mads Nielsen enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Phil Solomon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mads Nielsen! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Solomon moves out of range as Nielsen strikes. Nielsen scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Nielsen tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Solomon is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Nielsen has just dragged him back down to the mat. Nielsen wants to control but Solomon is keeping him busy. Nielsen postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nielsen stands up. The fight stays on the outside here - Nielsen looks like he's thinking about clinching though. No luck for Nielsen with that takedown attempt. Nielsen shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Solomon but Solomon pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nielsen throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Solomon counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Nielsen has control of Solomon's left arm, preventing Solomon from doing any damage. Solomon stands and steps away. Nielsen gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. No luck with that takedown attempt from Nielsen. Phil Solomon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mads Nielsen. Nielsen closes the distance looking to clinch and Solomon counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Solomon.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nielsen throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Nielsen wants to control the position but Solomon says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nielsen controlling the position for now. Nielsen works his way to full guard. Good work. Nielsen has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Solomon wanted to stand there but Nielsen had control of the position. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Mads Nielsen was stalling too much, according to the referee. Solomon avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Nielsen is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Solomon's half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Mads Nielsen will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Nielsen tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Solomon paws at him with a jab and circles away. Solomon really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Nielsen throws a lazy head kick and Solomon counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Nielsen is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Solomon is controlling him. Nielsen looking for a triangle here. Solomon is fighting it but it looks tight! Nielsen pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Solomon is tapping out - this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Mads Nielsen! During a confident post fight interview, Mads Nielsen thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
