The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Givens scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Lindros lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Lindros dives in looking to finish as Givens flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Lindros's strikes! Lindros is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Givens's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Givens was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
