Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bison Bradley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vadim Kalashnikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kalashnikov has chosen Leningrad Cowboys - Those Were The Days as his entrance music. Bison Bradley has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Bison Bradley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Vadim Kalashnikov!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Konstantin Menshow and Dmitry Maklakov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kalashnikov uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Bradley looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Nice defenses there by Bradley.
Kalashnikov throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Bradley stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Bradley is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Kalashnikov's half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Bradley not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Bradley is working for a submission of some sort.
Bradley seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kalashnikov does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Bradley will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Bradley working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Kalashnikov's thigh. Kalashnikov counters though and makes it back to full guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kalashnikov wants to sweep but no luck.

Kalashnikov is trying to control the position but Bradley postures up.
Bradley with a flurry of punches that miss.
Kalashnikov is pulling down on Bradley's head. It's preventing any offense from Bradley, at least for the moment.
Kalashnikov wants to hit a switch here but Bradley passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Kalashnikov there!
Bradley looking to ground and pound but Kalashnikov is blocking nicely.

Bradley moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Kalashnikov has worked his arm free - good work by Kalashnikov!
Bradley wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kalashnikov keeps working.
Bradley creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Kalashnikov sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Bradley throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Kalashnikov works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.

Bradley prevents Kalashnikov from improving his position.
Bradley has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Bradley has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Kalashnikov blocking the ground and pound.
Bradley landing strikes, looking to finish!
Bradley wants to control the pace but Kalashnikov is squirming around nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Kalashnikov is bucking up trying to escape but Bradley cracks him with another couple of good strikes.


Kalashnikov is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bradley cracks Kalashnikov with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bison Bradley!
Bison Bradley was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
