Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Matheus Lunik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jackie Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Matheus Lunik! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jackie Diaz! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Anni Minnemäki and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lunik throws a head kick that misses. A head kick from Lunik lands but Diaz takes it in his stride. Diaz gets in close and instigates a clinch. Lunik is trying to pull guard but Diaz turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Diaz successfully pulls guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Diaz is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Lunik has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Diaz is proving hard to escape from. Diaz looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Lunik wants to get up but he can't break Diaz's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Diaz wants to stand up but Lunik is controlling him. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Diaz has a closed guard, preventing Lunik from standing up.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Lunik tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Diaz has managed to clinch.
Lunik prevents a takedown attempt there.
Lunik is trying to break the clinch but Diaz is controlling him. Diaz gets control of Lunik's arms and successfully pulls guard. Diaz will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Diaz is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Diaz is trying to keep Lunik in close.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Diaz had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Lunik defends it easily. Diaz looking for a sweep. Not yet Diaz, not yet. Diaz trying to keep a closed guard but Lunik is proving a slippery customer.
Diaz has a closed guard, preventing Lunik from standing up. Lunik will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Diaz manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Lunik manages to get himself to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Diaz is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Lunik working a defensive guard here.
Diaz pushes down on Lunik's leg and manages to get into half guard. Diaz is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Lunik blocking the ground and pound attempt from Diaz. Lunik on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Lunik tries to get out of the position. Lunik controlling the position for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lunik keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Diaz seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lunik does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Diaz looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Lunik lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Lunik lands a head kick!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Lunik throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lunik misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Diaz takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Matheus Lunik seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lunik throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Lunik looking to land some kicks to the body here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jackie Diaz dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Diaz throws a head kick but Lunik moves out of range.
A head kick misses from Lunik. Diaz moves into the clinch. Diaz jumps guard.

Lunik trying to control but Diaz is working from the bottom. Diaz manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That's one minute gone in the round. Diaz throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Lunik because Diaz loaded up on that one. Lunik really wants to buck Diaz off and get back to his feet. Lunik knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Diaz on the ground. Diaz trying to control but he's not successful this time. Diaz looking to ground and pound but Lunik is blocking nicely. Diaz tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment. Diaz looking to control but Lunik is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Diaz scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Diaz trying to control but Lunik is having none of it. Lunik is wriggling around trying to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Diaz trying to control but Lunik is having none of it. Diaz content just to control the position here. Diaz can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Lunik is looking to escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Diaz looking to secure an arm triangle but Lunik defends it well. Diaz thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Diaz is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Lunik is forced to tap! Great finish!
