Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Juhani Talvilahti! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Marco Blurström and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Talvilahti looks to land a combination but Dickson avoids it well. Talvilahti motions for Dickson to come forward. Talvilahti throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Some wild striking there from Talvilahti.
Talvilahti misses with the body kick and Dickson counters with a takedown into side control. Dickson really is a fat lump. Dickson wants to stand but Talvilahti has his arm trapped. Talvilahti tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. Dickson gets his hands free as Talvilahti looks to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Talvilahti tries to roll but Dickson sticks to his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Talvilahti holding both Dickson 's hands and preventing any damage. Dickson slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. You can see the frustration on Talvilahti's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Talvilahti just trying to survive but Dickson is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Dickson just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Juhani Talvilahti wasn't active enough on the ground. Talvilahti throws a combination that misses and Dickson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Talvilahti's guard. Dickson would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Talvilahti doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Dickson wants to stand but Talvilahti has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Talvilahti is looking to control Dickson's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Talvilahti avoid being mounted? Talvilahti tries to roll over but Dickson keeps him under control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Talvilahti trying to control the action but Dickson is working from the bottom. Dickson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Juhani Talvilahti has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Dickson checks a leg kick. Talvilahti throws a nice inside leg kick. Talvilahti throws a right and a left that both miss. Talvilahti throws a wild body kick that Dickson sees coming a mile off. Talvilahti ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dickson moves away. Talvilahti swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Dickson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Talvilahti's guard. Dickson has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Talvilahti is proving hard to escape from.

He's being very persistent here but Dickson manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Dickson decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Talvilahti, up you get!

Talvilahti darts in trying to clinch and Dickson counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dickson would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Keith Dickson will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Talvilahti fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Dickson manages to avoid it. Nice body kick there by Talvilahti. Talvilahti throws a right hand that Dickson ducks under and follows up with a left that Dickson also avoids with ease. Dickson avoids a punch combination nicely.
No joy there for Talvilahti, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Talvilahti darts in looking for a takedown but Dickson gets double underhooks and turns Talvilahti into the cage. Dickson gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Dickson stands up and beckons Talvilahti to join him on the feet. Talvilahti looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Talvilahti is working an open guard so Dickson takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Talvilahti throws a lazy head kick and Dickson counters with a nice double leg into guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Talvilahti wants to hit a switch here but Dickson passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Talvilahti there! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dickson stands up from mount. Strange move. Juhani Talvilahti has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Talvilahti fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
And that's the end of the fight! Keith Dickson showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Dickson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
