Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Quinton Rampage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Masakatsu Funaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rampage kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Eminem - Lose Yourself. The crowd seem to be enjoying Funaki's choice of entrance music: "Julie's Theme" - Alan Silvestri. Quinton Rampage has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Hirohito Nitta and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rampage connects with a single shot there.
It looks like Masakatsu Funaki has been cut.
Rampage has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Rampage misses with a series of wild punches.
Funaki scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Funaki lands a leg kick that knocks Rampage off balance momentarily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rampage throws a series of punches but Funaki avoids them all with ease.
A combination from Funaki does no damage.
Rampage swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Funaki counters with a nice uppercut.
Funaki looks to land a combination but Rampage avoids it well.
Rampage fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Funaki manages to avoid it.
Rampage throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Funaki misses with a jab, cross combination.
Funaki jabs Rampage to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Rampage takes a jab right on the kisser.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Rampage has cracked Funaki with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Rampage lands another huge swinging hook and Funaki tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Funaki, before Rampage can land any more shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Quinton Rampage!
