Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Bembol Oblaks!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Hugh Johnson and Skip Squint.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oblaks connects with an inside leg kick.
A combination from Snow does no damage.
Snow defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Oblaks.
Snow misses the shot to the body.
Oblaks throws a head kick that half lands.
Oblaks darts in looking for a takedown but Snow gets double underhooks and turns Oblaks into the cage.

Oblaks has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Snow uses from the top position.

Oblaks wants to sweep but no luck.

Oblaks pushes Snow off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Oblaks thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Snow if he has to take too many more of those.
Oblaks shoots in for a takedown but Snow shows good takedown defense.
Jon Snow has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bembol Oblaks.

Snow takes a kick to the side of the head.
Oblaks has a takedown stuffed.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Snow scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Oblaks throws a half hearted mid kick.
Snow throws a body punch but Oblaks moves out of range.
Snow looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Snow throws a right and a left that Oblaks avoids nicely.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Oblaks closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Oblaks lands in his opponent's guard.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bembol Oblaks dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Snow throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Oblaks.

and Oblaks counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Oblaks closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Snow to the mat! Snow manages to get full guard.
Oblaks wants to pass the guard but Snow is keeping the position.

Oblaks gets to his feet. Snow looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Snow has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Oblaks decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Snow, up you get!
Oblaks slips a jab and a cross from Snow.
Snow scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Jon Snow is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Snow tries to bum rush Oblaks with a series of wild strikes but Oblaks uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A looping hook to the body misses from Snow. Oblaks does a little dance to reset his feet.
Snow throws a left and a right that both miss

and Oblaks counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Snow won't allow Oblaks to pass to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Snow tries to get to full guard but Oblaks has control of the leg.
