The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Severn slips under a jab.
Severn catches Chavo with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

It looks like El Chavo has been cut.
Chavo looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Chavo fails to land the takedown.
Chavo shoots in and drives through. Severn sprawls well.
Chavo fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for El Chavo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Severn motions for Chavo to come forward. Severn throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Severn lands with a cross.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Severn fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Severn fails in his attempt to clinch.
Severn thumps Chavo with a low kick.
Jab, jab by Chavo - just one landing.
Chavo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Severn's waist but Severn gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Chavo off to one side.
Chavo moves out of range of the body kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Severn digs a good body shot into Chavo's ribs.
Bas Severn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chavo is breathing heavily.
Severn wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Severn throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Severn lands a big right hand that sends Chavo crashing to the mat! Severn stays standing though and waves Chavo back to his feet!

Chavo is rocked!

El Chavo's cut is getting worse.
Crack! A monster head kick from Severn and Chavo falls like a tree - timbeeeeeeeeeeerrrr! A highlight reel knockout by Severn!
