Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Josh Barnett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lenny Mclean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mclean has chosen Oasis - F**king in the bushes as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Lenny Mclean acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mclean cracks a nice hook into Barnett's ribs.
Barnett shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mclean but Mclean pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Barnett stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mclean swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Barnett drops back looking for a leg! Mclean is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Mclean manages to kick Barnett off! Barnett jumps back into Mclean's guard.

Barnett changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mclean tries to avoid it but Barnett manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mclean to the ground. Mclean escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Lenny Mclean hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Mclean is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Barnett.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Josh Barnett.
