Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Horace Head (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Drago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ivan Drago has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 1, fighting out of London, Horace Head! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ivan Drago! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Donald Grub and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Drago lands with a nice combination. Head backs away looking to recover. Drago misses with a double jab
so Head counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Drago wants to hit a switch here but Head passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Drago there! Head is trying to stand up but he's being controlled by his opponent. Drago wants to hold on but Head pushes him away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Drago can't escape the position.
Head is looking to stand but Head has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.
Drago tries to reverse the position but Head maintains control. Drago tries to lock up and control but Head gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Drago looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! Drago is trying to break free.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Drago trying to control the hands but Head breaks the grip. Drago is trying to break free.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Drago is trying to get back to his feet but Head has full control of the position and if anything, Drago has just worked his way into a worse spot. You can see the frustration on Drago's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Drago trying to control the position but Head manages to sink in the hooks. Drago might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Head haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Drago tries to break free.

Head has the hooks in. Drago is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Head decides to stand up. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Drago throws a series of punches but Head avoids them all with ease. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ivan Drago seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Drago stuns Head with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Drago is breathing heavily. Drago catches Head with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Drago throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Head counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Drago's guard now. Head tries to stand but Drago is controlling from the bottom. Head trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Head stopping the sweep attempt from Drago. Drago trying to control the position here. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Horace Head just wasn't active enough. Drago lands a nice shot to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Drago throws a combination that misses and Head counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Drago! Drago wants to control but Head postures up. Drago tries to get back to half guard but can't. Drago struggling a bit here. Drago tries to buck Head off but Head is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Head wants to stand but Drago is controlling his arm. Drago struggling a bit here. Head wants to stand but Drago has his arm trapped. Horace Head overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Drago tries to buck Head off but Head is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ivan Drago showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Drago looks to land a combination but Head avoids it well. Drago takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Head ducks under a wild hook from Drago. Drago darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Drago misses with a series of wild punches.
Ivan Drago is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Drago paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Drago missing with a left hand there. Head was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Drago tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Head was well out of range. Poor timing from Drago. Head dodges the punch combination from Drago.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Drago swings and misses with a shot to the body and Head counters with a nice double leg into guard. Head has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Drago is proving hard to escape from. Drago pulls Head in close to his closed guard and prevents Head from doing any damage or advancing position. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Drago can do anything to dispel that myth. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ivan Drago seems to be getting the better of the standup. Drago shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Head eats them both and turns towards Drago to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Horace Head has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Ivan Drago is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Drago throws a right and a left that Head avoids nicely.
