Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mohammed Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zare White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hunter pinned against the cage. Hunter gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
White throws a body kick that misses.
Hunter lands with a slapping head kick.
White is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
White fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hunter avoids it really well and circles away.
Hunter takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Hunter swats away the attempt to clinch by White.
White lands with a straight right. Hunter didn't see that one coming.

It looks like Mohammed Hunter has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hunter throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
White avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Hunter dives in and grabs White's left leg, looking for a takedown. White pushes down on Hunter's head and hops out.

White changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hunter tries to avoid it but White manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hunter to the ground. Hunter escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

White tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hunter sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten White somewhat.

White tries to close the distance and clinch but Hunter swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Hunter throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

White looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hunter is fending him off so far but White persists. Nope, Hunter circles away and we're back to standing.

Hunter clinches up with White and pushes him back against the cage.
White wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Hunter pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

White's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Hunter stuffs the takedown.

White tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hunter paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Hunter tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but White defends well and Hunter ends up having to push White into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
White has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Hunter decides to pull guard.
White throwing strikes from guard but Hunter blocks nicely.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

White must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Hunter manages to break the clinch.
White throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
White throws a series of punches but Hunter avoids them all with ease.
Hunter misses with a takedown attempt - White sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
White misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Zare White seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
White looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Hunter shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says White as he avoids it easily.
White displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hunter.

White throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Hunter.
White throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
White shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hunter as he jumps to the side.
White looks to land a left hand but Hunter moved out of range nicely.
Hunter swats away the attempt to clinch by White.
Hunter uses good head movement to avoid the hook from White.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for White. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Hunter tries a head kick but it misses.
White throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hunter's waist but Hunter gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing White off to one side.
White moves in looking to clinch but Hunter pushes him off.

White postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
White throws an elbow that misses. Hunter uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in White's guard. Nice move by Hunter!

Hunter is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and White defends it well.
Hunter prevents White from standing back up.
White moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hunter looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
White is looking to stand up but Hunter isn't so interested in that idea.

Hunter throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent White stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
White shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Hunter eats them both and turns towards White to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
White looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hunter is fending him off so far but White persists. Nope, Hunter circles away and we're back to standing.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

White has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Hunter after a bit of a struggle.

Hunter pulls guard effortlessly.
White working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Hunter's head.
White trying to control but Hunter is working from the bottom.
White wants to stand and escape but instead Hunter has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
White is trying to hold Hunter in close to prevent damage but Hunter has managed to pass into half guard.
White tries to kick Hunter off but Hunter keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if White can do anything to dispel that myth.

White scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Hunter manages to mount him!
Hunter manages to capitalize on a mistake by White to take his back!
Hunter keeps control of the position as White tries to break free.
Hunter controls the action.
Hunter controlling well, preventing White from escaping the position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
White wants to get back to his feet.
Mohammed Hunter has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Zare White is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Hunter is not going to allow White to sit and survive in this position.
