Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luther Patton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lori Mori (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Luther Patton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Lori Mori! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Dmitry Maklakov and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mori fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Patton avoids it really well and circles away. Patton uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mori.
Mori shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Patton as he avoids it easily. Mori tries to close the distance and clinch but Patton swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Mori closes the distance and clinches. Patton changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Mori fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Mori doesn't manage to clinch there - Patton circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Patton defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Mori. Luther Patton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lori Mori. Mori shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Patton defends it nicely. Mori tries a head kick but it misses.
Patton keeps the fight on the outside. Mori moves to clinch but Patton breaks away and Patton counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Mori's guard now. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Patton tries to stand but Mori is controlling from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mori is trying to keep Patton in close.
Patton gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Mori misses with a jab, cross combination.
Mori throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Mori fails with the takedown and Patton counters with a shoot takedown. Mori fights it but they end up in guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mori working a defensive guard here.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Patton wants to stand but Mori is controlling his posture from full guard.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Mori tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Patton swivels and escapes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mori shoots and misses and Patton counters with a takedown into side control. Mori tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Patton presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Patton stands up from mount. Strange move. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Patton keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Patton stuffs the takedown. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mori closes this distance looking for a takedown but Patton circles away. Mori clinches. Mori holding his opponent close, against the cage.

That's one minute gone in the round. Mori wants to get back to striking at distance but Patton won't allow it.
Patton has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Mori avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Mori is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Patton to keep the fight standing. Mori breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Mori doesn't succeed with the takedown and Patton counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Patton tries to stand and escape but Mori is controlling the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Patton decides to stand and escape the position. Mori shoots in looking for a takedown. Patton tries to sprawl out of it but Mori keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Patton manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Mori is breathing heavily. Mori dives in and grabs Patton's left leg, looking for a takedown. Patton pushes down on Mori's head and hops out. Mori wants to clinch. Lori Mori seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mori throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Mori instigates a clinch. Mori fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Mori escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Mori misses with a head kick.
Mori tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Patton paws at him with a jab and circles away. Mori throws a body punch but Patton moves out of range.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mori throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Patton circles away from the clinch attempt and Patton counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Patton. Patton stands up and waves to Mori to follow him. Mori shoots in for a double leg but Patton sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Luther Patton dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Patton avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A chopping leg kick lands by Mori. Patton really is a fat lump. Mori dives in and grabs Patton's left leg, looking for a takedown. Patton pushes down on Mori's head and hops out. Patton avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Mori throws a sloppy head kick and Patton moves out of range easily. Luther Patton is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Mori fails with the takedown and Patton counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Patton. Patton gets to his feet. Mori looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Mori is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Patton.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice sprawl there from Patton as Mori shoots in. Luther Patton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lori Mori. Mori takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Mori scores with a head kick.
Mori with a lazy takedown attempt and Patton decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Mori's guard. Mori is working an open guard so Patton takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. A punch combination from Mori misses. Mori doesn't succeed with the takedown and Patton counters with a nice double leg into guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Patton gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mori with a lazy takedown attempt and Patton counters with a nice double leg into side control. Mori won't be happy with that. Mori is looking to reverse the position. Patton gets to mount! Mori was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Luther Patton overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Patton stands up from mount. Strange move. Patton avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mori looks to clinch and Patton counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Patton is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Mori is looking for a sweep. Patton is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Patton decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Mori misses with a takedown and Patton counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Patton. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Mori isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Patton stacks Mori on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Patton!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Patton decides to stand back up. Patton steps back and let's Mori get back to his feet. Mori tries to clinch up and Patton counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Patton stands up and beckons Mori to join him on the feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Luther Patton showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Patton, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
