Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pvt. Mullen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Archie Bell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mullen and Archie Bell. Bell has chosen Supersoaker as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 11 - 2, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pvt. Mullen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 14 - 0, fighting out of London, Archie Bell!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, James Glass and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bell throws out a leg kick but Mullen moves out of range and Bell only half commits.

A big head kick from Bell and Mullen is sent sprawling to the canvas!


It looks like Pvt. Mullen has been cut.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Mullen is pulling down on Bell's head to control his posture.

Bell stands up over Mullen, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bell accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Mullen wants to stand but Bell is controlling the position.

Bell is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Mullen is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Bell winds up and cracks Mullen with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Bell wants to work for an arm triangle but Mullen is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Bell thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Bell is keen to just control but Mullen is a slippery customer.

Bell is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Bell drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bell jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Bell has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Mullen is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Bell is controlling him.

Mullen wants to stand and escape but Bell is having none of it.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Mullen misses with a hook
and Bell counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Bell lands with a kick to the temple. Mullen shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mullen throws a jab but it's blocked by Bell.
Bell throws a big shot that misses.
Mullen looks to throw the jab but Bell is out of range.
Bell takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Mullen misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bell.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Mullen throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
A head kick misses from Bell.
Nice defenses there by Bell.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Archie Bell dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Pvt. Mullen's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Mullen throws a lazy uppercut
letting Bell counter with a right hand.
Mullen moves out of range of the body kick from Bell.
Pvt. Mullen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bell lands with an uppercut that bounces Mullen off the cage and back into range.

Bell takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Mullen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bell moves away.

Mullen looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Mullen throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Bell stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Mullen cracks a nice hook into Bell's ribs.
Bell throws a wild body kick that Mullen sees coming a mile off.
Mullen jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

Mullen lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Bell throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.

Bell throws the left hand but Mullen avoids the punch easily.

Mullen tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Bell manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Bell moves away from the strike by Mullen.
Bell ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mullen moves away.
Bell throws the kick towards the body but Mullen avoids it.

Bell throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

and Bell counters with a good, hard body kick but Mullen shrugs it off.

Bell scores with a head kick. Mullen tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Mullen ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Pvt. Mullen will probably get the nod.

Mullen moves into range and clinches up with Bell.
Bell has had enough of the clinch but Mullen keeps him there for the moment.
Bell is trying to break free.
With the fighters up against the cage, Mullen throws an elbow but misses.
Mullen pushes Bell back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Mullen lands a body punch.
Mullen tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Mullen lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Bell backwards.
Bell wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Mullen has him pressed against the cage.
Bell stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Bell is looking to break free of the clinch but Mullen has double underhooks.

Bell is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A frustrated look appears on Bell's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Bell is still on wobbly legs! Can Mullen finish him?
Bell wants to break the clinch but can't.
Mullen holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Mullen lands with a right to the head.
Mullen stalls.
Bell tries to break the clinch but Mullen is controlling the position.
Mullen throws a big uppercut that drops Bell! More strikes from Mullen and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Bell lies dazed against the cage as Mullen celebrates with his cornermen!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:33 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Pvt. Mullen!
Pvt. Mullen gave a mention to Heisenberg in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
