Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Paul Poulter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Malcolm Hopkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hopkins has chosen Mobb Deep - Shook Ones Part II as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
27 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Paul Poulter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
25 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Malcolm Hopkins! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Donald Grub and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Poulter feints and then cracks Hopkins's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Hopkins down. Hopkins with a body punch. A glancing blow. Hopkins closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hopkins lands in his opponent's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Hopkins trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Hopkins trying to control but Poulter is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hopkins postures up.
Hopkins content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Poulter has locked up a guillotine! Poulter's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Hopkins is holding on here and Poulter must be using up a lot of energy. Hopkins has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Poulter gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
