The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Newto throws a combination that misses
and Israel counters with a big head kick but Newto shrugs it off.
Israel looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Israel lands with a kick to the ribs.
Newto fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Israel on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Newto. Newto obviously looking to wear him down.
Israel has Newto up against the ropes in a clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Israel with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
It looks like Az Newto has been cut.
Israel keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Newto's efforts to push away.
Israel lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Newto tries to break free but Israel pushes him back against the ropes.
Newto tries to land knees in the clinch but Israel avoids the damage to the body.
Newto's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Newto is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Israel is defending well for now.

Israel crunches a lovely knee into Newto's ribcage.
Newto wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Israel has his opponent in a tight Thai clinch and unloads with a massive knee that drops Newto to the canvas! Can Newto beat the count? 3,4,5,6 and he's up... is he? Yes, he's up! The referee is taking a long look at him and he's waved off the fight! He didn't think Newto was in a fit state to continue so this fight is over! Israel is your winner!
